ConnectFree

ConnectFree is a project run from Newcastle-under-Lyme College to help businesses improve their exporting opportunities through a combination of IT and business language training.

The project is directed at SMEs who either operate in European markets or are looking to expand into them, and aims to increase their international trade through support with communications and an understanding of foreign culture.

The project, which has now been completed for the first year, has emerged successfully with 116 employees from various Staffordshire companies benefiting from free language training in Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Arabic and Japanese.
