The West Midlands has some of the best universities for language learning in Britain. Here are just some of the establishments and what they can offer you.
Aston University Aston University’s School of Languages and Social Sciences has an excellent reputation in English, European Languages, Culture and Translation studies. Their Languages for Life scheme encourages language learning, promotes careers using languages and shows the value of studying abroad as a vital part of the learning process.

The University of Birmingham has an excellent reputation for language teaching and offers a wide range of European and non-European languages, for students, staff, the general public and businesses. Their Centre for European Languages and Cultures offers a range of modern language undergraduate courses including single and joint honours options and a year abroad as part of the programme.

Coventry University's Business School offers undergraduate courses in French, German, Italian and Spanish which can also be combined with other subjects such as Business, Law, Information Technology, Tourism and International Relations.
