Free sign language lesson for Ross residents 25 July 2008
Ross residents are being offered a free British sign language taster session next month.
According to Deaf Direct, there are around 26,000 people living in Herefordshire with a hearing loss.
In August, the charity is holding a taster session where people can find out more about sign language.
The session is suitable for those with no previous knowledge and if anyone wants to learn more, information about further accredited courses will be available.
The free taster is being funded by Herefordshire Council Personal and Community Development Learning.
It will take place at the Ryefield Centre in Ross on Monday, August 11 from 10am until 1pm.
To book a place please contact Sue Bucknell at Deaf Direct on 01432 357741.
