Ideas for activities
If you've engaged the employer but are stuck for inspiration why not consider a few of these ideas for activities:
- A 'Dragon's Den' - where pupils have to prepare a simple presentation in a foreign language about their product/idea/service and the business representative and teaching staff form a panel to ask questions and judge.
- International cake sale - where pupils must follow a foreign language recipe and then set up a stall and sell their cakes to fellow students/staff/parents in the appropriate language.
- Visitors guide - where pupils have to design a visitors guide to local attractions and events for international visitors. This could work particularly well for schools with partner schools overseas.
